The ring’s beauty is maximized with two different shades of brilliant blue coming from the mokume gane and, secondly, the lapis lazuli. Subtly breaking up these wondrous patterns, for a touch of calmness, is a sleek titanium pinstripe.

The traditional components of mokume gane were relatively soft metallic elements and alloys – gold, copper, silver, shakudo, shibuichi, and kuromido – which would form liquid phase diffusion bonds with one another without completely melting.
